Google Webmaster Tools

1. Log in to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ with your Google account.
2. Enter your blog URL and click Add Site.
3. You will be presented with several verification methods. Choose Meta Tag.
4. Copy the meta tag, which looks something like
   <meta name='google-site-verification' content='dBw5CvburAxi537Rp9qi5uG2174Vb6JwHwIRwPSLIK8'>
5. Leave the verification page open and go to your blog dashboard.
6. Open the Tools Page and paste the code in the appropriate field.
7. Click on Save Changes.
8. Go back to the verification page and click Verify.

Yahoo Site Explorer

1. Log in to https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ with your Yahoo account.
2. Enter your blog URL and click Add My Site.
3. You will be presented with several authentication methods. Choose By adding a META tag to my home page..
4. Copy the meta tag, which looks something like
   <meta name='y_key' content='3236dee82aabe064'>
5. Leave the verification page open and go to your blog dashboard.
6. Open the Tools Page and paste the code in the appropriate field.
7. Click on Save Changes.
8. Go back to the verification page and click Ready to Authenticate.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your site to be authenticated.

Bing Webmaster Center

1. Log in to http://www.bing.com/webmaster with your Live! account.
2. Click Add a Site.
3. Enter your blog URL and click Submit.
4. Copy the meta tag from the text area at the bottom. It looks something like
   <meta name='msvalidate.01' content='12C1203B5086AECE94EB3A3D9830B2E'>
5. Leave the verification page open and go to your blog dashboard.
6. Open the Tools Page and paste the code in the appropriate field.
7. Click on Save Changes.
8. Go back to the verification page and click Return to the Site list.
